IBC In-House Training

Training with resident engineer and IBC Training and Support Manager, Szymon Drozdek, has been postponed until further notice. If you had training booked with Szymon, you will be contacted directly to secure alternative dates as soon as is safe to do so.

Please also be advised that CPD’s booked to go ahead in April are also suspended until further notice. IBC would like to thank you for your understanding as we continue to monitor the situation. Wishing all health and well being during this difficult time.

Trend Classroom Training

IBC would like to notify you of the cancellation of all Trend classroom training and site based training as of 20th March. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause but our priority at this time has to be the welfare of our Partners and colleagues

But don’t worry, there is still plenty of Trend classroom training available online:

  • Trend’s extensive e-learning modules include IQVISION, IQSET, Action Management and the new Ex-Or DALI 64 lighting control system which integrates with the Trend BEMS through the IQECO controller.
  • We have also recently introduced new modules on getting the best out of the Niagara drivers within IQVISION, namely Niagara Analytics and e-signature.

All of these e-learning courses are accessible via the Trend Learning Management System (LMS). If you have not previously registered or have any difficulties with logging in to the portal, please email [email protected]

Going forward, our training team have risen to the challenge and are proactively exploring alternative ‘virtual instructor led training’ (vILT) via Honeywell’s web based conference software. The team are confident this will deliver the high quality, interactive training you expect and by early next week we hope to be running our most 3 most popular courses this way, namely System Engineering, IQ Engineering and IQVISION.

If you have existing classroom training booked we will be in touch shortly to discuss how the vILT will work and how we can ensure this training is effective for your business. For those without current bookings, please do have a look at the virtual courses available and we will continue to provide regular updates on progress and availability of training.

As we get a better understanding of how the pandemic will effect working practices in the UK, the training team will continue to adapt our courses to suit. We are confident that vILT and e-learning will help us to enhance and expand our Partner training across the board.

As ever, if you have any questions or would like to discuss this further please contact either the Training department directly ([email protected]) or speak to your normal Trend representative in the first instance.
