The MVE Network Actuators range from iSMA CONTROLLI are multiprotocol network actuators for PICV and Globe Valves with energy and temperature control functions, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus RTU, RS-
485 connectivity. Also available with emergency fail safe function (MVE5xxxR-2-RS models). iSMA CONTROLLI’s whole range of intelligent network actuators integrate perfectly with MAC36NL controllers and Sedona based controller AAC20. MVE2xxx-2-RS Features

MVE2xxx-2-RS is a multiprotocol network actuator dedicated for PICVs, allowing direct temperature monitoring and control of supported medium. Together with Libra PICV the MVExxxx-2-RS creates a unique energy calculation solution for heating or cooling coils in air handling units and district heating plants. Summary of features:

  • Multiprotocol network actuator for PICVs (Press Independent Control Valves)
  • Direct temperature monitoring and control
  • Energy calculation for heating/cooling coils (with Libra PICV)
  • RS-485 connectivity with Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP for building management systems
  • Works with standard Globe Valves (without energy calculation)
  • Two temperature inputs for NTC 10K temperature sensors:
    • Temperature monitoring
    • DeltaT and Temperature control/limit
    • Energy calculation (with Libra PICV or custom PICV with manual flow characteristic setting)
  • Independent control and limit of temperature, optimizing power consumption
  • Flow rate calculation when installed on PICV valves with both sensors connected
  • Controllable with standard analogue signals
  • Quick and easy installation with U-Bolt connection and self-diagnosis:
    • Mounts on iSMA CONTROLLI flanged valves
    • Connection kits available for other valves
  • High resolution (0.1%) for precise temperature control
  • Self-calibrates on different strokes
  • Compact models available (MVE2xxxS-2-RS)
  • USB port for local configuration and diagnostics (note: when USB cable is connected, the actuator cannot be controlled (BLDC motor is disabled).

Make the most of PICVs and change them into Energy Valves! Install the Multiprotocol Network actuator MVE5xx-2-RS with a couple of temperature sensors and hook it to BACnet MSTP or Modbus Network. MVE5xx-2-RS will control the actual thermal power delivered to the coil as well as feed your BMS with crucial insight about the real energy used by your system. Not using iSMA CONTROLLI PICV LIBRA yet? No problem, MVE-2-RS can be configured via the flow curve of the PICV and change it into an Energy Valve!
