IBC’s top pick from this release is from our partner’s BACnet certified Multiprotocol I/O Solution adding the all new MAX I/O modules to the range, providing ultimate control and monitoring capabilities.

Another highlight from these new modules comes directly from MAX 12O range (iSMA-B-12O-H-IP and iSMA-B-12O-H). The12O module has HOA switches on board – until now only MINI modules with 4x DO were equipped with HOA (MIX modules have no HOA).

Updates to iSMA CONTROLLI Configurator now support release 2 products. iSMA Configurator updated with the firmware of new devices allows for seamless configuration of MAX I/O modules and TP VAV Panels.

From now on, all iSMA products are in one palette and are already set up and ready to implement into the application. This update will save engineering time and frustration of badly configured Modbus registers.

TP Panels

These in stock TP Panels have been updated to include a version without Fancoil control, instead these are dedicated to VAV control. TP Panels are still equipped with temperature, CO2, humidity sensors, Setpoint, occupancy and touch buttons in different configurations.

nano Edge Engine

Discover the framework made by iSMA CONTROLLI. Real-time programming with multiple cycle-driven applications means that users can save hardware resources and group parts of the application into different execution times – whether it requires fast execution, or involves long time processes.

Another handy feature is multiprotocol points exposure. From an engineering POV, users can save time on making the links between data points and protocol points. Data points are equipped with protocol extensions out of the box – so the points appear automatically on BACnet or/and Modbus network right after dropping them into the application. NTP and DNS are now supported – getting DNS servers automatically function supported. Nano Edge Engine 2 powered devices can be exposed on Modbus TCP as a client now and very handy Modbus Gateway function allowing reaching RS485 devices over IP is implemented. Clear gateway working without any configuration – the user just needs to enable it in the software makes nE2 devices working as Modbus RTU/IP gateways.

Later on in the future (2024), users can expect further evolution within the world of IoT by developing MQTT and Haystack tagging system.
