While IBC continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, some of our Partners have also released statements. Following are IBC’s Partner Statements listed in alphabetical order.

“The Belimo Group have an active risk management process in place for our entire supply chain, to mitigate delivery risks for components from our suppliers.

Inventories at Belimo help to compensate for disruptions in the supply chain. Based on the current assessment of this situation we do not expect increased lead times at this time.


Belimo Management and Belimo UK are discussing the situation on a daily basis and will advise of any changes.

Due to the latest developments with coronavirus Belimo UK have implemented the following measures due to the concern of Health & Safety for our Employees to try and reduce the risk of infection and in order to provide continuous service to our Customers.


  • Employees have been encouraged to work from home where it allows. However, one person per department will continue work in the Shepperton office.  We are making provisions to ensure that the support for our customers will continue to be available at all times.


  • As we will have reduced telephone operators in the Shepperton Office, please use our email addresses as below to contact us should you have any problems via telephone. We will then contact you accordingly.  The external sales team will be available on their mobile numbers and emails as usual.

  • Visits to customers are restricted to situations that are urgent or important where they cannot be resolved via telephone, email etc and only if the customer will accept external visitors to their premises.


  • We are in continuous liaison with our Couriers who are advising that service is continuing as normal at the current time.

“Dear Customers and business partners,

the recent outbreak of Coronavirus is having a significant impact globally, however CONTROLLI is able to cope with this scenario, limiting the negative impacts on the business of our customers.

Currently, all our offices in Genova, Milan, Padua and Rome are open and operating. Our factory in Genova is running at regular capacity.

Carriers are generally ensuring standard services by truck, air and sea freight.

On the night of 9th  March, a Decree was issued by the Italian Prime Minister containing rules intended to contain the spread of the virus in Italy. Measures include certain restrictions in the movement of people, however restrictions do not limit travel and movements for professional reasons.

It is also important to remark that according to the Decree of the Ministry “goods can enter and leave the territories concerned. The transport of goods is considered as an essential work requirement: drivers of transport vehicles can therefore enter and leave the territories concerned and travel inside them, however only for the purposes of delivering or collecting goods”.

Controlli has already in place a number of business and employees management initiatives, also referred to in the new Decree, for its factory and offices so as to ensure business and operations continuity.

Demand for humidification equipment has been extremely strong through the first quarter and we are seeing a high volume of healthcare related shipments leave our dock every day.

Through this unusual world situation, we wanted to assure you that DriSteem remains at full production capacity. We have the ability to expedite your order to ensure that your projects stay on schedule.

DriSteem is following all state and federal orders and continually working to ensure the health and safety of our employees and communities. The majority of our office staff is working from home and fully able to provide the high level of service and support you have come to rely on.

“As the Coronavirus pandemic situation continues to evolve, we will be providing updates as the information we have and our situation changes.  We want to assure you that we are monitoring the guidance of Federal, State and Local health offices as well as practices and policies of local companies related to this pandemic.

We remain at full production capacity and are processing all in-house orders on time.  A large portion of our office staff is now working from home to facilitate adequate social distancing. All departments including tech support and customer service departments remain fully staffed and available during regular business hours.

Freight carriers have notified us that they are experiencing some delays in transit. They are also stressing the need to verify that your recipient will be open and available to receive freight.  Please be sure to reach out if you become aware that customers will be unable to receive a shipment.

Our procurement team continues to closely monitor inventory and safety stock levels both in-house and with our suppliers.  To date we only have two part/vendor concerns to address, as of today there is no impact on production.  Should any orders be delayed, you will be notified by the Inside Sales team.

Our objective is to first ensure the health, well-being and safety of our employees and our employees’ families. Further, we will attempt to minimize the impact to our customers, our company and our suppliers along with recognizing the responsibility we have as a corporate citizen.  We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and provide updates as the situation changes.”

We know that this is a worrying time for everyone across the UK right now, both from a personal perspective as well as for your business. With this in mind, we’re keen to reassure you that we’re doing our utmost to ensure we’re well placed to continue to meet your needs whilst safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our customers, colleagues and communities.
Whilst we remain open for business, we have introduced a series of additional measures alongside the latest Government guidance to protect the health, safety and wellbeing across our business. These include:
Order Ahead – Where possible please pre order to minimize the time required in our building. We will be then placing all products at the trade counter for collection. You can call us on arrival rather than coming into the building.
Social Distancing – Please respect the temporary social distancing rules which is set 2 metres from the counter. We also ask all visitors to be mindful of trying to leave 2 metres distance between themselves and all others (customers and colleagues) at all times. If possible, we ask customers to respect a ‘one-customer-out’, ‘one-customer-in’ rule.
Payments – With effect from Tuesday 24th March, we can only accept card payments – we will no longer accept cash, to protect our colleagues.
Picking up an order – All orders will now be handed over via the Trade Counter. Please call ahead when-ever possible to let the sales team know you’re coming and please respect the 2-metre rule.
Staffing – Please be aware that the office may experience reduced staffing levels due to working from home where possible, but please be assured that we are doing everything in our powers to provide the very best and safe service possible in the current climate.
Receipt of Goods – if you prefer not to sign the paperwork given, then instead we will take your name and print on the advice notes. This practice will be your liability for any goods leaving the building without a signature.
Restricted Access- With the exception of the trade counter area, access to our building is now limited to colleagues only, this includes WC facilities.

Symptoms – And finally, if you or any of your work-colleagues / family have shown symptoms of Coronavirus, please remain at home; please do not enter our premises.
It is absolutely fundamental in these difficult and troubling times we are doing our best to support both our employees and customers alike. It is crucial that every necessary precaution that can be taken, is taken, and if in any doubt – please do not take the risk.

“Honeywell continues to monitor the 2019-nCoV coronavirus situation both in China and globally.

As China addresses the spread of the coronavirus, several municipal and provincial governments throughout the country, including Shanghai, are requiring all enterprises to remain closed until at least February 10. Honeywell will comply with all instructions from national and local authorities.

At this point, we do not expect any interruptions to our business or your deliveries. We are working with our suppliers to minimize disruptions, and we have substantial supply within our distribution network to meet current, immediate demand. We will continue to evaluate the situation and will update you whether the extended closure, or any future changes, affects your shipment.

“Due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, having in mind the health of our employees, partners and assurance of business continuity, since last week GC5 has undertaken the following actions:

  • Most employees whose work does not require presence in the company work remotely from home. We are well prepared for remote office mode of work because the most of our partners and clients are being served using electronic channels of communication.
  • For employees of production, warehouses, logistics and parts of the R&D, we have created special separated conditions guaranteeing them safe work with practically zero contact with outsiders. All employees from the above departments commute to the company in private cars without using public transport.
  • We have launched additional activities that provide us with adequate stock of components and materials for production.

Accordingly, at this moment GC5  doesn’t foresee any problems in the continuity of production and supply of iSMA products.”

The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become headline news around the globe and whilst the risk of contracting the virus in areas away from known affected areas is relatively low, there is still a risk. Johnson Controls employees are located in all regions of the world and to meet our commitment to the health and safety of all employees, contractors and visitors at our facilities we have implemented a number of additional proactive and precautionary measures to minimise the potential for exposure.

“We’re all in unfamiliar territory and information is constantly being updated. However, I wanted to provide you with the latest on our ONICON factory so you can communicate accurately with your customers.


We have an excellent team at ONICON who took early action to protect our employees and minimize impact to our business. Our focus continues to be on keeping our team healthy and the factory running so we can meet our customer commitments.  To date we have:

  • Implemented the now ubiquitous protocols of hand washing & social spacing
    • Our facility was stocked with hand sanitizers and wipes long before there was a rush on these items.  New hand sanitizer stations are mounted at all entrances, bathrooms and common areas along with posted reminders.
    • Our employees are encouraged daily to follow social spacing guidelines.
    • Much of our office staff is working remotely.  Communication among the teams is still happening real time via Skype for Business and desk phones are being forwarded to staff cell phones.
    • Our cleaning service provides a nightly sanitizer wipe down of all common surfaces and handles.
    • Non-essential traffic into our production facility has been eliminated and we are not travelling except for critical service issues.
  • Our materials group started providing daily updates on inventory when COVID-19 was first impacting China placing orders early to minimize potential disruption in our supply chain.
  • We have protocols in place to react quickly and decisively to the possibility of infection of an ONICON employee

The good news is ONICON production continues to run at full capacity and we are not experiencing material shortages.

What can you do?

  • Follow local and national governmental guidance.  Do not do anything to jeopardize the health of you or your family.
  • Do not travel for sales calls. Call your Regional Manager to determine appropriate actions if a customer has a critical service issue requiring onsite support.
  • Please keep us informed about updates in your territories with respect to mandatory shelter in place orders and if orders need to be redirected to home addresses, etc. Note that HVAC businesses may be designated as “essential services” and may therefore be exempted from mandatory closures.”

“All the world is being affected by Coronavirus pandemic. Businesses worldwide are facing a new and unprecedented challenge. Italy is tackling Covid-19 pandemic with utmost commitment. Our Prime Minister has decided to close all industrial activities that are not considered essential to overcome this emergency.


Seitron SpA will continue to be at your disposal during this period, now more than ever. Our Sales, Customer Care, Accounting and Technical Department are fully operating in Smart Working.


Due to Ministerial Decree, Seitron SpA has been required to close its production and service facilities from Thursday 26th March to Friday 3rd April 2020. During this period we will not be able to ship goods or to receive any materials sent by our customers.


We are aware of inconveniences that this may cause, however we are confident that these actions will enable Italy to tackle effectively this pandemic.


Seitron SpA is already working to handle your orders in a timely manner, minimizing any delay.”

“It is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision today to close the Sontay factory from today, the 24th March 2020.

The team have been exemplary in the way they have supported the company in continuing to manufacture products throughout this period of uncertainty.  If there is anything we can take from this experience it is the heart that the Sontay team have.  We have seen more than ever at this time how the team has come together as a “family” to keep the business we all love running and support each other through this difficult time.

Since the latest announcement from the Government last night, it is now clear that for the safety of our team, we need to shut the production facility and cease shipping products to our customers.

At this time, our vast distribution network is still operating and in recent weeks they have been stocking up on key Sontay products.  We believe they can still fulfil orders at this time so we will be working with them to do the best we can to continue supply for the time being.

Our support teams will still be working remotely for the time being so are able to answer any of you queries and offer guidance on how best to access our product line.

We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the support you have given us over recent weeks and we look forward to come back stronger than ever.

“We are following the dramatic developments around the Corona virus very closely and can say, that there has been no case of COVID-19 in our workforce to date.

However, in order to further protect the health of our employees and at the same time ensure the continuation of our production, we have taken extensive measures.
