Internal Sales & Support Position

IBC is seeking to fill a sales support role to assist in the achievement of ambitious business development plans in 2024 and beyond. The role will be supporting the current sales staff and marketing programs while developing existing accounts and securing new customers.

Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Sales and/or Building Services desirable.
  • Sales experience (essential) in a similar role [Min 1+year]
  • Tele sales experience desirable.
  • Familiarity and/or experience of digital sales would be an advantage.

Skills:

  • Confident, shows optimistic ’can do attitude’ and expresses strong belief in own ability to succeed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • SAP Business One experience an advantage.
  • Some familiarity with the role of CRM systems in achieving wider company sales/marketing goals, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies would be an advantage.

Comprehensive technical and sales training & development will be provided.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary €26,000 to €30,000 [depending on qualifications/experience]

    Technical Sales Position – BMS/HVAC Engineer

IBC is well established with an active sales force representing and distributing some of the world’s leading manufacturers in building control systems and field devices.

    IBC is seeking a sales professional to deliver business growth and development across the island of Ireland.

    Requirements

    • Third level qualification in Electrical or Engineering or Building Services desirable.
    • Sales experience (essential) in BMS and/or HVAC.
    • Experience in developing new customers and providing customer solutions to meet their needs.
    • A proven track record in developing and selling technical solutions in Building Services project applications across commercial, education, healthcare and pharmaceutical markets.
    • Current relationships with Contractors, M&Es, System Integrators, Local Authorities, and end users.

    Skills:

    • Confident, shows optimistic ‘can do attitude’ and expresses strong belief in own ability to succeed.
    • Proven organisational skills and planning ability.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and forecasts to a professional standard.
    • Ability to prepare and lead meetings with internal and external customers.
    • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
    • Able to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and take corrective action where appropriate.

      WHAT IS A SME?

      SME is the abbreviation for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise. Definitions vary, and the Enterprise Ireland definitions are the most appropriate in the Irish context.

      Small Enterprise is defined as:

      An enterprise that has fewer than 50 employees and has either an annual turnover and/or an annual Balance Sheet total not exceeding €10m.

      Medium Sized Enterprise is defined as:

      An enterprise that has between 50 employees and 249 employees and has either an annual turnover not exceeding €50m or an annual Balance Sheet total not exceeding €43m.
